I see my fair share of BLMs, and when I see them, I post about it here at beaverlikemammals.com. But a beaver blog consisting entirely of my own sightings would be, clearly, pretty silly. It is up to you, faithful readers, to keep your eyes open for BLMs and to post any sightings.
*Please note* – so many people come up to me and say “I saw a BLM but I wasn’t able to get a picture, so I didn’t submit it”. People, a picture of a BLM is not necessary to submit a sighting! Even without a photo, submit away! Of course, a photo can make your post more exciting, so keep your cameras and camera-enabled cell phones close at hand!
Try to include the following information:
- Your name
- What you saw
- Where you saw it (state, city or county, intersection, etc)
- When you saw it
- Any other interesting information
- As an attachment, a photo, drawing, painting, or other representation of what you saw (optional)
